Exemplary professional attitude and demonstrated ability to exercise excellent customer service and support, is required, as is the ability to interface effectively with a variety of people.Understanding the project development and NEPA processes desirable.Experience with transportation/infrastructure projects desirable.Experience in media relations desirable.Experience working in public sector communications highly desirable.

Preferred 3-5 years of directly related work experience.

4-year degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or Journalism (or equivalent).

Represent projects and clients in public.

Support public outreach events, including public meetings, committee meetings attend community events.

Prepare written and visual content for use in project communications, including press releases, social media posts, websites, presentations, handouts and brochures.

Develop strategies and tactics to effectively and efficiently engage stakeholders.

Develop strategies and tactics to build project understanding, engagement and acceptance.

Develop an understanding of the project, key issues, and potential stakeholders and create a public involvement plan to meet the project team’s and client’s goals.
